Methylene blue is a low-dose, in-bag infusion known for supporting mitochondrial energy, mental clarity, and recovery after viral illness, burnout, or surgery. Delivered to your hotel, Airbnb or apartment by a licensed English-speaking nurse.
Methylene blue is a long-established medication (originally a textile dye, then a malaria treatment, then a standard antidote for methemoglobinemia) that has received recent attention for off-label use in cognitive performance, mitochondrial support and as an adjunct in low-dose photobiomodulation protocols. We offer it as an IV in carefully screened cases at a low dose — typically 0.5-1 mg/kg — with a comprehensive intake that screens for SSRI use, MAOI use, G6PD deficiency and renal function before any infusion.
Methylene blue is a potent monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) at the doses used in IV protocols. Concurrent use with SSRIs, SNRIs, tricyclic antidepressants, MAOIs, triptans, tramadol or several other serotonergic agents can trigger serotonin syndrome — a potentially fatal reaction. Our nurses run a full medication review at intake and will decline the infusion if there is any contraindicating medication on board. This is the single most important reason the booking process for methylene blue is slower than for our standard menu.
The infusion runs over 30-60 minutes at the low dose. Methylene blue temporarily turns urine, saliva and skin a blue-green color (typically 24-48 hours) — this is harmless and resolves on its own. Most clients report subtle cognitive lift and improved focus over the following 24 hours. We do not recommend stacking methylene blue with other novel infusion protocols on the same day; the screening complexity rises quickly.
A 45-60 minute slow infusion combining a low, clinical dose of pharmaceutical methylene blue with 1L saline, full vitamin B complex and vitamin C. The blue color is normal — and a small amount of blue urine for 12-24 hours afterwards is expected and harmless.
Travelers and long-stay digital nomads chasing sharper focus, post-COVID and post-flu recovery, people coming off back-to-back nights in Provenza, and clients pairing it with NAD+ or Myers as part of a longevity protocol.
Methylene blue is not appropriate if you take serotonergic medication (SSRIs, SNRIs, MAOIs, tramadol, triptans), are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have G6PD deficiency. Our medical team screens every booking via WhatsApp before dispatch.
